Our second visit was even better than the first. An exceptional campsite with everything you need made easy for you. It is clear that Sally the owner wants you to have the best possible holiday, and to enjoy her stunning local area. The beach is right in front of the campsite and I enjoyed swimming / surfing / kayaking every single day. We even saw a pod of dolphins and pretty convinced we also saw orca in the bay. Just stunning. We'll be back again very soon

A five night Caravan pitch in May with superb weather could not have been better. Sally and John as Owners give that personal touch often missing from the larger Sites. The facilities were a bit outdated but all services worked well and a decent shower sets you up for the day. Sandend beach is wonderful...who needs to go abroad. Will definitely return again soon....

We spent 6 days here on May Bank Holiday and could not have picked a better place. Very tidy site next to beach with immaculate facilities. Sally was really lovely and helpful and the wee shop has all the basics you need.
We will definitely be back, with a mover on the caravan so we can get a sea view next time!

One night stay on tent pitch: Warm welcome and shown to pitch. All facilities adequately explained. Spent a lovely evening exploring beach and village. Bathroom facilities are excellent, best I've used for a long time. Highly recommend this campsite.

Campsite is in a lovely location, I had a one night stay with my 2 dogs and arrived by bike. I was made to feel very welcome and was taken to my tent pitch, the staff explained where everything was. New shower and toilet block is good, facilities were very clean. There’s a handy shop with a few basics too. Would definitely recommend.

First visit to Sandend and it is such a lovely site. Beautifully kept with direct access to the beach. Great shower block. Owners are very helpful. We would certainly return soon. Thank you so much!

What a lovely site. Sally met us at the gate, very friendly and warm, gave us the low down on the facilities, beach and local sites. Sally then showed us to our pitch which was right by the beach. A most beautiful view of sand, sea and surf. Shower block clean and tidy. Couldn’t have asked for more, just a shame we only stayed one night but will be back.

Had a terrific relaxing week, with usual changeable weather meaning sunny times to enjoy the lovely beach and long walks on various hills, both with our lab. New toilets very nice and clean being great upgrade. Will look to return again next year for annual holiday here.

This is a gem of a spot. Sally was so lovely and clearly very invested in her campsite. The shower and toilet facilities were excellent, with lovely hot water. A 30 second walk directly onto a secluded beach. We took a road trip of 10 minutes to Portsoy Ice Cream which was fab.

We booked 1 night here last minute when we came to the area to visit relatives. The site is in a beautiful spot right next to a pristine beach. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and explained all the site facilities when we arrived. There was a sauna on site which we didnt have a chance to use but looked fantastic. The new shower block was lovely and all very clean. We would definitely return here!

Stayed for 2 nights in May and got glorious weather. Lovely sight overlooking the lovely beach. Toilets lovely and clean with toiletries supplied. Sally was very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely be back.

This campsite is amazing! The family that run the campsite are so friendly and welcoming. We had only booked for 1 night but didn’t want to leave so they sorted us out and managed to get us a space for another night as we just had a small tent. The facilities we’re kept so clean and the showers were amazing! Thanks again can’t wait to come back again soon

Stayed over the weekend, campsite goes right onto the beach, magnificent views, facilities are very clean, today and accessible. Sally met us on arrival and took us to our pitch, helped with directions and an electric cable extension.
Great site would thoroughly recommended for beach walks and chilling, will be going back.

Great little site on a beautiful sandy beach and quaint little old fishing village and harbour. Lovely coastal paths in both directions and we certainly added it to our pinned for return list. Recently installed individual toilet / sink / shower units were great, although no engagement indicators… so hang your hat on the door handle during peak times (if the door being tried makes you jump :-).

If it modern and lively your after not for you, if it's clean functional facilities, friendly helpful staff with a fantastic beach on your doorstep in a great location to relax, let the world go by in North East Scotland then look no further. We had a great time chilling out with family. A fantastic view of the Northern Lights thrown in.

Fab little site, met by the owner Sally who keeps an eye on everything using her electric scooter! Toilets and shower block really clean. Hairdryer available. Short walk to beautiful sandy Bay with gentle waves. The night we arrived a pizza van turned up and did a roaring trade. Would definitely return.

A lovely well maintained park, a generous plot size for what we needed. Couldn’t ask for more from the staff 👍 Great toilet and shower facilities! Sadly Storm Floris put and end to enjoying our second night, it wasn’t tent box friendly weather. Great stay Sandend!

A great campsite. Stayed as a family of four. Shower/toilet block was great. Location is super, you can walk straight on to the beach. We managed to get a couple pizzas from the van which is only there certain days- they were really good but go quick!

Such a beautiful campsite. It was our first time staying but we are already looking at dates to go again. I always judge a campsite on their toilets and Sand-end was the best I've ever seen. Clean, well kept and beautiful. The nicest pitch, we all fell asleep listening to the waves, there was a fire-fuelled sauna we could have used. The campsite was full of people who were so respectful, it was quiet after 10pm so we all slept well.

My parents started taking us to this campsite in the early 70's. It has changed minimally over the years. Do miss the cafe which was in part of the office part. The new shower and toilet block are excellent additions. I've enjoyed going here with my children and hope to return soon with grandchildren. Stunning location and welcoming hosts. It may not be the cheapest, (i didn't research it as I wasn't bothered about cost). Great place where memories come flooding back.

Beautiful site, friendly staff. Toilet block immaculately clean. A stunning location where I spent many childhood summers, was lovely to come back and enjoy it all over again. Debbie’s sauna is a brilliant addition, highly recommended. Will definitely be back! And hopefully the pizza guy will be back when I’m staying next, they were amazing!

Fantastic site. We requested a sea view and luckily were given one. We got parked right in front of the sea. Beautiful weather and we were a stones throw from the beach. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Kids and dogs had a fabulous time. …
